Isaiah turns FOUR!

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY, ISAIAH!

Isaiah wanted to go the store and pick out his own present.

He told us so the other day when we asked him what he wanted for his birthday.
It took him about 3 and a half seconds to decide on this race car.
First toy on the first aisle he looked down.
And it was on clearance!
Yep, he's easy to please when it involves cars that make noise.
(Sort of like his Daddy, no?)
Here are the boys polishing off the remainder of the gift cards
Robert's parents sent for Christmas.

So, while we are waiting to be seated, Jarom announces that he has a confession.
He played Super Smash Brothers for the Wii before.
At Uncle Scott's house.
He knew it was Rated T for teen, but he asked Uncle Scott if it had blood and he said it didn't.
So, after watching Aidan play for a while, Jarom decided it was an OK game to play.
I just laughed and said, "I'm sure if Aunt Maile lets her kids play it, it's an OK game. You don't have to worry about bad things at Uncle Scott and Aunt Maile's, Honey."
Before dinner arrived.

French fries. There was other food on the plate,

but I am pretty sure it went unnoticed.

Brendan passed out just before the food arrived.

We have been working on getting back on a "normal"

schedule, and I think it's been a little rough.

Isaiah at least made it to the car ride home.

When I unbuckled him to get him out,

he popped up and said, "Ahhhhrrrggg!"

Brendan, still asleep.

Jarom says, "Mom, take a picture of me pretending to be asleep!"

Yeah. Sure. Why not?

Isaiah wanted to put the candles on himself.
Yeah. Sure. Why not?

Isaiah waited all day for this cake.

First thing he said this morning after coming downstairs was,

"Where's my cake?"

When Robert went to the store this afternoon, Isaiah suddenly needed to call Daddy.

"I need a birthday cake and some candles," he said to Robert through the phone.

Hmmm, I have a video of the Birthday Song. I hope.

Well, I will see if Robert can figure it out. I just got this video recorder for Christmas,

You'd think I would have it figured out by now.

The kids love the new video games they got for Christmas!

Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool...

OK, so Brendan wasn't the one playing video games all day long,

but he didn't want to be left out of the photo op!

Halloween!

Happy Halloween to everyone!

Count Dracula (Jarom) decided he would be in better company hanging

with Michael Jackson (Cartier) and the Princess (Chai),

but Mr. Incredible (Isaiah), Buzz Lightyear (Brendan), Mom (Me) and Dad (Robert)

chose to go to the church's Trunk-or-Treat.

So, we made our rounds around the parking lot and had a lot of fun.

A very happy Mr. Incredible.

Mr. Incredible didn't venture far from Dad all night,
but Buzz figured out about 10 cars into things that he didn't need Mom.


Mom said Buzz had to put the hat on for at least one picture.
